About this file
This document is a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs (IDVA) for piano services at the Illinois Veterans Home in Manteno for Fiscal Year 2024, covering the period from July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024. The RFQ outlines the agency's requirements, including the need for a pianist to be available for chapel services on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Sundays, and on specific dates for Veterans' Day and Memorial Day events, totaling an estimated 180 hours. The pianist must be able to read music, play church hymns, sing and lead veterans using hymn books, and transpose music when working with volunteer instrumental musicians. The Home will supply all necessary music materials.
The RFQ provides instructions for vendors to submit their quotes, which must be valid for 90 days and include all expenses, with no price increases allowed. The selected vendor must be able to provide all required services and offer the lowest price. The agency reserves the right to reject all offers and to cancel up to 72 hours in advance. The RFQ also includes COVID-19 protection requirements for vendors, as per the Governor's Executive Orders.
