Solicitation IBM14R0012

Question and Answer

Amendment A006

1. Delete the following sentence from SOW, part II Section 5.4. (Attached is the one page of the revised SOW 5.4.)

" I. Sludge Analysis: Bio-solids produced at NIWTP are to be tested for Salmonella and fecal coliforms at least once every 60 days."

2. Q.

No schedule for when semi-annual and annual sampling is to be performed if provided in the solicitation. Therefore, it is not clear whether any of this sampling will occur during the period for the base year (Apr – Sep 2015). This affects the estimated cost for the base year period. Should we assume that one semi-annual event occurs during the base period?

Similarly, should the annual sampling/analysis be included in the base period or will it occur outside this time frame?

A.

One annual influent sampling and one annual effluent sampling during the base year period (April 01 - September 30, 2015). Offerors shall include that in the proposal for the base year.

Please note that annual influent sampling is required each year whereas annual effluent sampling is required during years 2, 3 and 4 of the permit. Year 2 of the permit starts on March 31, 2015.
