About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought Notice for the Robins Air Force Base Integrated Base Defense Security System. The 78th Security Forces Squadron and AFSC/PZI are conducting market research to identify potential vendors capable of providing a comprehensive security system installation. The contract will require a contractor to supply labor, personnel, documentation, tools, equipment, and materials for installing a Vindicator Intrusion Detection System (IDS), Access Control System (ACS), and Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) at facilities on Robins AFB, Georgia.

The RFI specifically requires the selected contractor to decommission existing equipment and return it to 78 SFS/ESS. This is a pre-solicitation notice under the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center, with the solicitation number FA850125IBDSS. Importantly, vendors who do not respond to this RFI may still participate in future Request for Quote (RFQ) or Request for Proposal (RFP) processes. The government emphasizes that information submitted is voluntary and will become government property, with the potential to modify the announcement or subsequent solicitation at their discretion.
