About this file

This document consists of architectural floor plans and system diagrams for the Boise Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) facility, depicting physical security and surveillance infrastructure across two floors.

The first floor plan (approximately 300' x 115') shows the layout of sixteen numbered doors with associated access control components, including card readers, door contacts, request-to-exit sensors, push-to-exit buttons, and magnetic locks distributed throughout the space. The infrastructure includes a 12U cabinet with 24-port switch and 1500VA rack UPS, multiple camera locations (CAM 1, 2, 3, 5), passive infrared sensors, a duress button, siren, wireless transceiver, alarm keypad, master intercom station, and an exit alarm. The second floor plan (approximately 300' x 115') is similarly equipped with ten numbered doors and more extensive surveillance infrastructure, featuring thirty camera positions (CAM 9-30), multiple magnetic locks on three doors, additional security components including alarm panel, duress buttons, strobes, and multiple technical equipment rooms. The system architecture diagram illustrates the interconnected network topology, showing five major control points across the facility: HQ (Room 134), Medical (Room 267), Testing (Room 134), Operations (Room 214), and Control Desk (Room 210). Each location contains networked 32" or 43" decoders, NVR systems, network switches, UPS units (ranging from 1KVA to 2KVA capacity), patch panels, and cable management infrastructure connected through MX8 intercom units and distributed across multiple rooms to support integrated access control, video surveillance, and door intercom operations.
