Enclosed is a solicitation package prepared by the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional
Institution (FCI)- Beckley, WV, for the acquisition of One (1) Carrier 30 ton condensing unit #38APS03064 480 Volt, 3 Phase) or equal to and compatible with existing air handler. Supply and install one (1) DX coil to existing air handler, with R410A Brand name refrigerant and supply and install new insulated refrigerant piping.
In submitting the request for quote, vendors should consider all information provided herein. Please carefully follow all instructions located in the solicitation package concerning the content, format and submission of your quote. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site.
All potential offeror(s) are advised that this solicitation includes the clause FAR 52.212-4 (Oct 2018) for Commercial
Items. The solicitation also includes the clause FAR 52.204-13 (Oct 2018) System for Award Management. This clause requires all contractors doing business with the Federal Government to be registered in the System for Award
Management (SAM) database. The process to register is free and can be completed at www.sam.gov. Offeror(s) MUST include their Data Universal Number System (DUNS) number in their offers. The Contracting Officer will verify registration in the SAM database prior to award by entering the potential awardee's DUNS number into the SAM database. Offeror(s) with no registration or a registration status of inactive or disbarred will not be eligible to compete for this requirement. The offeror bidding on this solicitation shall be registered under NAICS 333415 in SAM to be considered.
The Government will award to one (1) responsible offerer(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be the lowest priced technically acceptable (LPTA). A purchase order will be issued for the award. This solicitation will be made available on or about August 6, 2021, and will be posted to the Acquisition website https://sam.gov formally known as the Federal Business Opportunities website (www.fbo.gov). This site provides all downloading instructions on how to obtain a copy of the solicitation. Hardcopies of the solicitation will not be available. This solicitation is unrestricted and all interested parties are encouraged to submit a quote. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the SAM.gov acquisition website to ensure they have any available updates to the solicitation. The anticipated award date is August 31, 2021. An award notice will be posted to the AM.gov acquisition website.
Each offeror shall carefully read and review each line item offered for bid, paying close attention to the description requested prior to offering your price. If you need to offer an equal substitute, please indicate the changes for the item you are bidding on. Please complete blocks 17a, 23, 24, 30a, 30b, and 30c of SF-1449 and the continuation sheets.
Please include your telephone number in block 17 a. Original signatures are required on quotes submitted.
The Government shall award to the responsible bidder base on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA).
