13. SECURITY GUIDANCE. The security classification guidance needed for this classified effort is identified below. If any difficulty is encountered in applying this guidance or if any other contributing factor indicates a need for changes in this guidance, the contractor is authorized and encouraged to provide recommended changes; to challenge the guidance or the classification assigned to any information or material furnished or generated under this contract; and to submit any questions for interpretation of this guidance to the official identified below. Pending final decision, the information involved shall be handled and protected at the highest level of classification assigned or recommended. (Fill in as appropriate for the classified effort. The contract shall be responsible for ensuring all security requirements outlined in the National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPON), the contract terms and conditions, and the Scott AFB policies and practices are accomplished.
b. UNCLASSIFIED//FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY (U//FOUO) INFORMATION may be accessed. U//FOUO information will be safeguarded per DoDM 5200.01, Vol.4 U//FOUO information will not be discarded in trash or recycle bins.
c. Classified information will only be processed on the SECRET Internet Protocol Network (SIPRNet). No classified information will be disseminated to contractor personnel not performing on this contract without specific approval of USTRANSCOM.
d. USTRANSCOM Instruction 31-02, Security Classification guide, applies.
10g. Contractor personnel that are NATO authorized users, may receive briefings containing NATO classified while visiting USTRANSCOM and HQ SDDC, regarding carrier shipments in classified operations at Scott AFB, IL.
11a. Contractors will have access to classified material at USTRANSCOM, Scott AFB, IL. Contract carriers may at times be in possession of classified materials while in transit and moving cargo in support of this contract.
11e. Contractors perform services in transportation of DoD cargo material in CONUS and overseas in operational theaters USTRANSCOM supports.
11j. Contractors will comply with OPSEC requirements in USTRANSCOM instruction 31-12.
