2. Could your company transition required contractor furnished equipment/ materials and provide sufficient personnel to be fully operational by 1 Oct 13 if you were awarded a contract for the above services on 1 Aug 13? If not, what would preclude this from happening and how many days would you require to transition from contract award date?
Answer
3. Do your foreign commercial contracts require you to comply with local laws, regulations, and labor union agreements governing work hours; and labor regulations including collective bargaining agreements, workers’ compensation, working conditions, fringe benefits, and labor standards or labor contract matters? Please identify any issues you anticipate in complying with local labor laws, regulations, and/or labor agreements.

6. Do your company’s commercial contracts contain provisions for extending services at the end of the contract (e.g., option to extend services)?

7. Does your company charge any originating and terminating storage fees? For example, a customer typically tenders an originating shipment 7 days prior to the scheduled monthly mission. Most of the time shipments then move on the scheduled mission. Sometimes the mission is delayed or cancelled or there are too many shipments and some are left behind until the next monthly mission. Dependent on the contractor’s process, terminating cargo may be held for the customer longer than 3 days; and there are times when shipments are misrouted and must be held until the paperwork can be straightened out and the shipment put back on the next mission.
Answer
8. Are there any Ovda Airport fees you will incur for working missions at Ovda? If so, is it a flat fee or a percentage of what the contractor earns for working a mission in Ovda?
Answer
9. Please provide any questions, comments or concerns you feel relevant concerning this proposed acquisition that would assist you in submitting a proposal.
