Questions Answer Can you please confirm the due date for responses to RFQ HT9425-24-Q-0085? The due date of July 24 is listed on the SAM entry, and the due date of July 22 is listed in the RFQ.
Which is the correct due date?
See updated section 3.1 of the addendum to FAR 52.212-1
The solicitation refers to background checks in sections 1.6 of the PWS. One statement refers to background checks being accomplished by the Provost Marshal Office Director of Emergency Services or Security Office, and 1.6.2 states that the contractor shall execute background checks on personnel. What kind of background checks are expected for the participants (local, state, national), and who is actually responsible?

Invoicing question: 5.3.2 outlines the event requirements that would be used for generating a quote. Will the contractor be totaling up the numbers for the events and dividing it by 12 to invoice in the FFP model, or does the government expect different invoice amounts per month depending on the SP usage estimates?
See updated section 5.3.3 and 5.3.4 of the PWS
Transportation: Understanding that the contractor/SP's is/are responsible for transportation to/from Fort Detrick, are the contractors also responsible for transportation within Army facilities and/or to satellite facilities? 1.5.6 states that the place of performance may include within a 50 mile radius of TATRC. Will the government provide transportation from the Center (1078 Patchel Street) to the off-site facilities for the SP's? If not, when will the contractor be notified of the actual work location? Will the contractors have access to that location without needing to go to Fort Detrick first?
See updated section 1.5.6 of the PWS
The schedule in section 5.3.2 is a little unclear. There are a lot of zeros in the event day column even though there are requirements for SP's on those days. Are those typos, or do they specify that they are not full (8 hour) days of work. For example, the first date in the chart says August 5-9, 0 event days (8 hours), but 1 prep day and 2 SP's per day, for a total of 8 SP hours. How do we interpret the zeros in the 3rd column?
