About this file
This is a contract modification notice announcing a change in contract responsibility for American Sign Language Services required by the US Naval Hospital, Guam.
The Combined/Synopsis Solicitation HT941026Q2020 will no longer be used to procure the required American Sign Language Services. Instead, the Army Contracting Command – Detroit Arsenal will execute the contract under the Department of War's Language Interpretation and Translation Enterprise II (DLITE II) Multiple Award Task Order Contract. The DLITE II contract is designated as a Tier 1 category management vehicle, making it the mandatory source for the Army and the preferred source for the entire Department of War. An existing task order under the DLITE II Multiple Award Task Order Contract will be utilized to fulfill this requirement. As a result, Combined Synopsis/Solicitation HT941026Q2020 has been placed in inactive status on SAM.GOV. Should the planned use of the existing task order become unavailable, the original solicitation will be reactivated.

Change in contract responsibility
The Combined/Synopsis Solicitation HT941026Q2020 will not be the instrument used to acquire the American Sign Language Services required by the US Naval Hospital, Guam
The Branch Chief at Army Contracting Command – Detroit Arsenal, informed the Healthcare
Contracting Division – West/HCD-West/HCD-W, Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity on Tuesday that their Branch is responsible for the contract execution of the Department of War’s
(DoW) Language Interpretation and Translation Enterprise II (DLITE II) Multiple Award Task
Order Contract.
The DLITE II contract is a Tier 1 category management vehicle, establishing it as the mandatory source for the Army and the preferred source for the entire DoW. Under the DLITE II Multiple
Award Task Order Contract, there is an existing task order that our effort falls under.
As a result of the above, we are placing the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation in an ‘inactive status” in SAM.GOV. Should the planned use of the existing task order not pan out, we will reactivate Combined Synopsis/Solicitation HT941026Q2020.
