About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for an Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring Services contract opportunity from the Defense Health Agency at DGMC (David Grant Medical Center). The document clarifies that there cannot be a 45-day transition period between award and service commencement due to ongoing patient scheduling needs for February 2025.
The document provides historical case volumes for 2024, with 64 spine cases and 45 vascular cases being the only procedures requiring monitoring services. Cases are primarily scheduled Monday through Friday, with an average of 4 patients per week and maximum concurrency of 2 cases per day. Brain mapping, for which the government will provide motor strip grids, averages 1 case per year. The services include various neurodiagnostic modalities such as evoked potentials, electromyography, electroencephalograms (EEG, OR only), and pulse oximetry.

Questions and Answers
Answers to the questions are in BLUE
1. Please clarify the expected award date. Will DGMC allow for minimum of 45 days between award and service commencement to allow for the hospital’s credentialing/onboarding processes?
As the end user/customer we cannot allow for 45 days between award and service commencement. The onboarding process is minimal, and 45 days is excessive. DGMC has an ongoing schedule of patients which would need to be scheduled in February 2025, therefore the transition would need to be minimal to prevent a disruption in surgery schedules.
1. Please specify historic (e.g., CY 2024) volumes of case types:
