Questions and Answers from Solicitation HT940625R0012.
6. Section 5.3 "Linen Laundering and Inventory" on page 14 of the solicitation. Are the quantities listed in the table the maximum that will be laundered annually, or is there a possibility that the actual quantities may exceed those figures?
Since this is a Firm Fixed Price contract, any significant increase above the estimated quantities could lead to financial imbalance on our end. Could you please confirm whether the annual totals listed are capped, or if they could potentially be exceeded?
Response: These are the estimated yearly quantities of items to be laundered. While the government does not anticipate going over those quantities. The government reserves the right for variance/annual reassessment of usage needs allowing fluctuations/changes to requirement/needs prior to exercising an Option Year. **Please refer to Part 5; Section 5.8 Annual Reassessment. **
7. Will the payout be monthly, bi-weekly or weekly throughout the duration of the contract?
Response: The payout will be monthly. **Please refer to Part 5; Section 5.9 Invoicing. **
8. Is there a budget for this contract throughout the duration of the contract?
Response: The contract will be funded by the appropriate fiscal year funding.
9. How long is the contract?
Response: This will be a five-year contract. **Please refer to Part 1; Section 1.6 Period of Performance. **
