About this file

This document is an Amendment (Amendment 2) to a federal solicitation for Medical Linen Services at the 23d Medical Group Clinic, Moody Air Force Base, Georgia. The amendment includes responses to vendor questions and updates to the Performance Work Statement, specifically incorporating a new section on Linen Tracking (Section 5.1.5.1). Key questions addressed include confirmation of the previous incumbent (Florida Linen Services-Space Coast, LLC, with a previous award amount of $326,262.93), clarification that no site visit will be conducted, and details about the procurement approach.

The solicitation is structured as a trade-off procurement where the government may award to other than the lowest price bidder, based on evaluation of non-price factors. The contract will run from 14 August 2025 to 13 August 2030, with a base year and four option years. It is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside for medical linen services, requiring weekly pickup and delivery of various linens including hand towels, pillow cases, scrub tops/bottoms/jackets, and customer-owned lab coats and curtains. The contractor must maintain HLAC or TRSA certification and follow strict hygiene and packaging requirements for medical linens.
