Questions and Answers
Q1. Will you add the restroom by the baggage handling that was not included in the original solicitation?
A1. The SOW has been updated to show the Restroom in the Baggage Handling System area.
The title for the 880 Sq. Ft. in the leased space has been updated to OSR TSM Office and moved the OSR to the Non-Leased Space section with the OSARP section. There are a total of 5 restrooms, 2 in leased space and 3 in non-leased space.
Q2. Current contractor and amount of current contract?
A2. The current contractor is One Call Maintenance. The total amount of the contract (Base Year and 4 Option Years) is $274,661.79.
Q3. Has the scope of work changed from the previous contract?
A3. The scope of work has not changed from the previous contract.
Q4. Approximate number of staff in visitor's in the leased areas?
A4. Approximately 30-40
Q5. SOW has 7 days per week does this include holiday's as well?
A5. Yes
Q6. To clarify, the TSA doesn't need janitorial coverage during the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. local time, which equates to a 16.5 hour day of cleaning, but just that the work should be completed within that time. This is critical because as you know, most of the TSA ops occur in multiple shift. If cleaning is done during the mornings, how will the rest of the shifts deal with trash that fills each shift and dirty break rooms that are used each shift.
A6. Yes the Statement Of Work (SOW) defines daily services for the Leased and non-leased space shall take place between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. local time. Currently services are being completed after 9:00pm as this is the slowest time of day at the non-leased space and will minimally impact the screening operation.
Q7. Is it possible that the TSA wants multiple cleaning shifts throughout the day and above time period?
A7. No, once per day as stated in the SOW
Attachment 1
Q8. In order to quote supplies accurately, approximately how many staff and visitors per day use the restrooms listed in the solicitation? Or how many staff per day is there?
A8. Approximately 30-40
Q9. Parking associated with this contract.
A9. Please contact the Reno Tahoe Airport Authority at (775) 328-6400 or visit http://renoairport.com/airport-authority
