About this file

This is Addendum #2 containing Questions and Answers for bid HSS 11 050 "Antiviral Stockpile Relabeling" issued by the Delaware Health and Social Services Division of Management Services Procurement on behalf of the Division of Public Health. The bid response is due April 7, 2011 at 11:00 AM Local Time. The addendum addresses a single question from a pre-bid meeting held on March 11, 2011 regarding the relabeling of antiviral medications in the state's stockpile.

The key clarification provided in this addendum is that the relabeling work cannot be performed at the Division of Public Health's warehouse in McKee Business Park because it is not an FDA registered and approved site for medication relabeling and repackaging. A vendor had inquired about performing the work on-site with CEO supervision, but this was denied due to the FDA registration requirement.

Antiviral Stockpile Relabeling

Summary of Pre-bid Meeting Question and Answers March 11, 2011

1. Can we do the relabeling right in the state warehouse? If so, our CEO would fly out and supervise.

Response: No. According to the FDA, the Division of Public Health’s warehouse located in McKee

Business Park would have to be a FDA Registered and approved site for the relabeling and repackaging of medications to include the antivirals. At this time the warehouse is not a FDA registered or approved site.
