Background
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) uses cutting edge technologies and scientific talent in its quest to make America safer. DHS's Science & Technology Directorate (S&T) identifies the United States’ scientific, engineering and technological assets and leverages these resources to create innovative technological solutions to counter security threats.
