TASK ORDER (TO) SOLICITATION PROCEDURES
Each TO solicitation under the contract will be issued in accordance with the Fair Opportunity procedures in FAR 16.505 and as supplemented below.
The Contracting Officer (CO) will solicit proposals from the contractor(s) via e-mail, regular mail or facsimile. Each TO solicitation will include, at a minimum, the following information:
(a) Ordering Activity Component Name;
(b) Description of the work to be performed;
(c) Instructions for submission of proposals;
(d) Evaluation criteria and relative order of importance (if applicable);
(e) Contracting organization Point of Contact (POC); and
(f) Proposal/quotation Time Due.
The task order will be award based on the information above and Lowest Price Technically Acceptable
(LPTA).
If unable to perform a requirement, contractors shall submit a no bid response to the CO in response to the task order solicitation. All no bid responses shall include a brief justification as to why the contractor is unable to perform.
