Questions and Answers August 29, 2017 (Update 8/30/2017)

1. Solicitation it mentions Global furniture as the current standard to match. There are two separate Global furniture distributors: a) Global Furniture and b) Global Total Office. Which does this solicitation refer to?

a. Per the Brand Name Justification (posted), this for Global Furniture Group – Evolve line of products.

2. May we submit the Q&A in the Price Quote Response, Volume II? (The length of this will exceed the 20 page maximum when combined with additional information requested in the RFP.)

a. This question is unclear. All information that includes pricing information should be included in Volume II. Please note, the 20 page limit is for the technical response and does not include the Volume II: Price Quote. There is not a page limit for the price quote. Without further information FEMA will not be increasing the length of the response at this time.

b. Does FEMA require answers to the questions that begin on page 40 of the RFP? Providing these answers in Volume I will put us over the page limit.

i. This is in reference to clause 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certification- Commercial Items. Please read the clause including:

“The Offeror shall complete only paragraph (b) of this provision if the Offeror has completed the annual representations and certification electronically via the System for Award Management (SAM) Web site located at https://www.sam.gov/portal. If the Offeror has not completed the annual representations and certifications electronically, the Offeror shall complete only paragraphs (c) through (u) of this provision.”

Additionally, this would not be considered part of the technical response if required to submit and therefore would not count to the page limitation.

3. Can we please get the RFP in a Word Document?

a. This has been uploaded 8/29/2017.

4. When will CAD files be released for the project?
