CONTINUATION SHEET REFERENCE NO. OF DOCUMENT BEING CONTINUED PAGE
STANDARD FOR 1449 RFP: HSCG84-15-R-AA1472 12 of 52 Amendment 0001 must be protected from all damage (including permanent depressions) during the installation, use, and removal of all materials required under this contract. In addition, only vehicles with turf style tires will be allowed on the surface. The contractor is solely responsible for repairing any and all damage caused to this field and may be held further responsible if the FieldTurf TM warranty is voided.
1.5.3.4 Plywood underlayment used shall be minimally visible when installation is complete. To minimize visibility of plywood underlayment, the contractor has the option to paint the edges of the plywood green to blend in with the turf. Rework may be necessary if plywood is visible and the Government POC for this contract determines that the exposed plywood creates an unprofessional appearance.
1.5.4 Quality/Condition of Rental Bleachers: The materials to be rented by the government under this contract shall be in “like new” condition (cleaned, painted, and operational) prior to delivery to the Academy. Coast Guard Academy Commencement Ceremonies often attract significant national media attention. Thus, the condition of the rental equipment shall closely resemble that of newly purchased bleachers.
1.5.5 Security and Other Requirements:
1.5.5.1 Access Requirements: All contractor personnel requiring physical access to the CGA property must be United States citizens or have legal residence documentation. Contractor personnel requiring access to CGA may be issued temporary vehicle passes for the term of the engagement for entry onto CGA property.
1.5.5.2 Equipment and vehicle storage and security requirements: All vehicles and equipment needed to perform the tasks set forth in this Performance Work Statement will be subject to security inspection each time they enter CGA. Arrangements can be made to store vehicles and equipment on CGA during the course of the work.
1.5.5.3 Smoking: Smoking is only allowed in four (4) designated areas. Smoking in vehicles is prohibited, unless the vehicle is within ten (10) feet of a designated smoking area. Designated smoking areas are shown in Technical Exhibit 4 (TE4).
1.5.5.4 Existing site conditions: The Contractor shall ensure that the work area is left neat and orderly at the end of each work day. All disposal of waste generated from work shall be the responsibility of the Contractor. All material removed by the contractor shall become the property of the contractor and shall be disposed of off-site in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Under no circumstances shall materials be placed in government owned refuse containers located on base unless properly coordinated with the Government POC for this contract. Eating and drinking (other than water) on Cadet Memorial Field is prohibited.
1.5.5.5 All contractor activities shall be conducted only between the hours of 0730 and 1600 local time Monday through Friday excluding all Federal holidays. If the Contractor desires to work outside these hours he shall submit a request to the Contracting Officer via Government POC for the contract for approval not less than 48 hours in advance.
