Text version

Q1. Looking at the CUTTYHUNK DD solicitation, I see there’s no geographic restriction.

We work with yards on all coasts, but get our best rates on the Gulf Coast in Texas.

It appears the vessel is homeported on the west coast in Washington.

Would a bid from a Texas yard be compared to a yard in Washington the same, or would you calculate a mobilization cost to each and add it to the bid amounts?

Answer: Please read Amendment 002 that is posted today, 02/22/17. It will provide the factors associated with the price evaluation only.
