HSCG40-16-Q-P30G21
Amendment Number A00001
14. (cont’d)
Question 1: WI 1 General Welding 3.3 states “ensure for bidding purposes ..will be broke down”…
So is KTR to quote a lump sum on the pricing sheet and keep a back up of individual prices per each bullet point?
The pricing sheet for CLIN D001 is for 1 job and is a “Definite” work item so why the
“broke down” comment.
Have not seen this type of method or statement before. Or does it just mean that these 5 areas are what is to be covered in the “1 Job” price?
Answer: WI 1 is broken down as such to best capture what has been discovered through our internal inspections. It should be bid as one job. This break down gives the contractor a better idea of what we have discovered prior to the availability (what we know for sure needs to be done). Again, WI 1 should be bid as one job. (Please see attached survey report.)
Question 2: WI-4 para 3.2 references a Hull corrosion survey analysis letter. Where is that letter and can I get a copy of it?
Answer: (Please see letter attached)
Question 3: WI 24- 3.2.1; #18 and 3.2.2; #3
Referencing in the Std Spec 5000-2014, C2.2; see excerpt below:
Bullet point 2; Validate…
C2.2.1 Renewal. When “Renew” is specified in the task description:
• Disconnect, remove, and dispose of each specified hose assembly.
• Validate each hose’s physical properties (e.g., size, length, material, etc.) against the vessel hose log data.
Where is the “Hose Log” and can Ktr get a copy? )
Answer: (Please see attached)
All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
