Responses to Offeror Questions on Solicitation # HR01-15-038 “Retirement and Length of Service Recognition Program Devices”

1) Offeror Question: Please provide information on the predecessor solicitation and award to include the number of offers received.

· FHWA Response: FHWA can provide all releasable information on the previous award. Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) No. DTFH61-10-A-00004 was awarded to 123-Awards.com on September 23rd, 2010 the BPA Period of Performance is 10/01/2010 -09/30/2015.

2) Offeror Question: The Statement of Work indicates that all awards should be personalized with FHWA's logo and the statement: "FHWA Honors Your Retirement" or "FHWA Honors Your Service". Please clarify if that statement should be included on watches. The concern is that the text would have to be so small, it would be illegible.

· FHWA Response: For watches only, the FHWA logo including the Department and Agency name inscription will suffice.

3) Offeror Question: Where should the quotation be emailed by noon August 25th? Please let us know what format(s) are acceptable.

· FHWA Response: The quotation should be emailed to dag.andargatchew@dot.gov. Please note the due date for receipt of quotation was originally August 25th, 2015. However, the Government has decided to extend the due date to Monday, August 31, 2015/noon, EDT.

The Department of Transportation (DOT) has mandated the use of Microsoft Office Products and Adobe PDF throughout the Department. Therefore, there may be difficulty in FHWA receiving your firm’s submission if other formats are used.
