Questions and Answers to Solicitation #HQ0516-16-T-0002

1. In the list of requested equipment items 3 and 4 you are asking for a total of three DM receivers, Yet the DMPS300-C only has only two DM outputs and two HDMI. What is the thinking here? Are you perhaps wanting an HDMI/HDMI scaler. Presumably this the destination of this video signal is the projector as the SX80 has an inbuilt scaler. Could you please provide the type number of the projector?

Three DM recievers were request because we have a total of 3 destinations, one projector and two 42" TVs. If this is incorrect adjust as necessary.

2. CLIN 0010 specifies a Cisco PrecisionHD Camera 1080p 4x Gen2 Quantity 2

6.1 Calls for four (4) cameras that have the ability to track the speaker. The PrecisionHD in the CLIN does not provide this capability.

6.2 Calls for a spare camera that has the ability to track the speaker. The PrecisionHD in the CLIN does not provide this capability.

Does the government require cameras that can track the voices and facial features of the speakers? Cisco’s tracking camera system included two (2) cameras each. Thus if we fulfill the 6.1 requirement for four (4) cameras you will essentially get eight (8) cameras if the tracking feature is required. The CLIN would need to be updated.

Does the government want the two (2) cameras listed in CLIN 0010 or the total of five (5) mentioned in the SOW?

The government DOES NOT require cameras that can track the voices and facial features of the speakers, disregard that capability. We do require a total of five cameras, three in the main room, one camera for the remote VTC system and one for the spare VTC. CLIN008 has three cameras (one for Main;

one for Remote; one for Spare VTC's). CLIN0010 is two more of the same type of camera in CLIN008 for the Main Room).
