RFQ Section, Pg Topic Question Response

SOW 1.1 Card Readers Fourteen (14) card readers. They are Innometriks Cheetah Core+Contact Reader part #’s INN-CHTA-CT and INN-CHTA- CTO. - Do the 14 card readers identified in the SOW have corresponding Request-to-Exit Devices that are fully functional?

If so, what type of REX devices are existing (REX PIR, Push-button, crash-bar, latch-bolt,etc.)

All REX devices are PIR and in good working order https://www.kantech.com/products /exit_trex.aspx There are two newer PIR REX devices on the communications room doors, brand unk.

SOW 2 FISCAM

Capability

Does the Customer intend to actually connect to a FISCAM-rated database during everyday operational use or just to be “FISCAM-capable”?

At this time all components must be installed to support full FISCAM compliance; however at this time the system will operate as a standalone system with no external connectivity.

SOW 3.8 Battery location System shall include a minimum of 8-hour battery backup, with batteries located outside of the system IAW DFAS 5200.8-I (9). - Please clarify what is meant by “located outside of the system”.

Does the customer have a specific location identified where the batteries are to be installed?

The back-up batteries and related equipment are mounted on the same wall as the PACS equipment in the 2nd floor communications room
