About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for Special Notice No. HQ003425ResilienceIndustryDay, Amendment No. 1, addressing two industry inquiries about an upcoming Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA) hosted industry day event.
The document clarifies that invitations for the resilience industry day will begin being sent out the following week, with plenty of slots still available and expedited invitation evaluations available on a case-by-case basis for companies requiring travel arrangements. Names of attendees requiring escorts must be submitted by August 14th. PFPA is hosting the event and welcomes vendors to invite their partners or clients in the building to attend. Additionally, PFPA plans to extend invitations to their protection partners, including other DoD law enforcement organizations such as NCIS and Army CID, once they receive a more complete vendor list.

Special Notice No. HQ003425ResilienceIndustryDay Amendment No. 1 Questions and Response
No. Question Response
The notice indicates that names of attendees requiring an escort must be submitted by Aug 14th. As we will need to travel, are you able to tell me when we should expect to be notified about whether or not we will be invited to participate?
The plan is to start sending out invitations next week. There are plenty of slots still available. Let us know if you need an expedited invitation evaluation and we can accommodate that on a case-by-case basis.
Additionally, we have ongoing conversations with various DoD law enforcement organizations such as NCIS and Army CID in the National Capital Region area. Are you able to tell us if the event will be open to other DoD law enforcement organizations beyond the PFPA? If so we would like to share that information with NCIS, Army CID, etc.
PFPA is hosting the event. You’re welcome to invite your partners/clients in the building to come by the event. In addition, PFPA plans to extend invitations to our protection partners (some of whom you listed) once we get a more complete list of vendors.
