Text version

In response to Source Sought Notice/Request for Information, The Cloud Computing Program Office (CCPO) Support Services (HQ0034-19-R-0146), this office received the following questions. This notification is to 1) address questions from vendors, and 2) Government responses to vendor’s questions.

1. Please provide the name and email of the incumbent staff.

Answer: This is a new requirement. So, there is no incumbent contractor.

2. This CCPO Support Services looks more like a Program Management Office (PMO)’s effort as opposed to the technical O&M of the JEDI.

Answer: The CCPO Support Services is totally for PMO effort.

3. CCPO Technical Capabilities: The Source Sought notice indicates a limit of 7 pages, please confirm if the cover page and table of contents page are excluded from this limit.

Answer: The cover page and table of contents page will be excluded from this page limit.

4. Font Size: Understanding that the response must be in 12 point font, are we permitted to use 10 or 8 point font for headers, footers, and graphics?

Answer: Yes.

5. CCPO PWS Suggestions: Can this 3-page document be provided in MS Excel as long as the 8.5 x 11 page size and page count guidelines are followed? Also, do you need the three page CCPO PWS Suggestions as a separate file from the CCPO RFI capabilities submissions, or may we incorporate in the same document if it is clearly marked/titles as CCPO PWS Suggestions?

Answer: For PWS suggestions, please use MS Word file and make a separate file from the CCPO RFI capabilities submissions.

6. As a woman owned small business we are interested in responding as a sub-contractor to this RFI Source Sought. Our questions are:

1) For responding as a sub-contractor do we simply respond only to Task Order 5 and mention the others as not applicable?

Answer: This agency will evaluate vendor’s capability for all tasks. If you are interested in this RFI as a sub-contractor, you need to show us who will be the prime vendor and let them submit a capability statement.

2) For the review and comments on the PWS would we only respond to those items for encompassing task order 5 and our capabilities?

Answer: Same answer with paragraph 6(1) above.

3) As our team has not been cleared for Top Secret Clearance – is there a potential to gain sponsorship in order to meet this requirement? Is this hard stop if we haven’t started the TS clearance process?

Answer a: We do not provide sponsorship to have a Top Secret Clearance and/or Top Secret Facility Clearance during market research phases.

Answer b: Refer to the Sources Sought HQ0034-19-R-0146

4) Will the CCPO also have oversight of the MHS Genesis component of JEDI as one of the primary programs utilizing cloud computing?

Answer: Currently MHS Genesis is not on the list of JEDI early adopters, but this does not prohibit them from using our environment in the future. However, the CCPO will have limited interaction with the details of specific customer’s environments within JEDI. CCPO Support Services will be on the JEDI enclaves (Unclassified, Secret and Top Secret) as a base level.
