About this file

This document is a Quick Quote instruction guide published by the Commonwealth of Virginia's eVA platform, which facilitates procurement opportunities for state agencies including the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR). The specific solicitation concerns restoration work on office attic(s) at Culpeper Battlefield State Park located at 9465 General Winder Road, Rapidan, Virginia 22733 (Culpeper/Orange Counties). The scope requires a fixed-price bid to furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, insurance, and supervision necessary to complete the attic restoration project. A mandatory site visit is required by May 18, 2026, scheduled at 1:00 PM, and all questions must be submitted via email to Mary.Cook-Jones@dcr.virginia.gov no later than May 18, 2026, at 5:00 PM. Prospective bidders are instructed to review all information on the Info and Items tabs and thoroughly examine all attachments under Documents before submitting responses.

The Quick Quote award methodology is based on selecting the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. Bidders must enter a unit price for each listed item through the eVA online platform, after which the total bid amount calculates automatically. Proposals may be saved in draft status and resumed at any time before final submission through the Sourcing section of the bidder's account. The document emphasizes that buyers establish all terms and conditions, requiring bidders to read all solicitation materials carefully. Suppliers may attach requested documents such as acknowledgements, references, and licenses through the Supplier Documents section. No specific pricing terms, set-asides, incumbent information, or funding sources are detailed in this instructional material.
