About this file
This document is an instructional guide provided by eVA.virginia.gov that outlines the procedure for submitting bids in response to Quick Quote solicitations issued through Virginia's electronic procurement system. The guide is applicable to vendors seeking to respond to state and local contract opportunities in Virginia, including solicitations such as Trash Pickup Services for the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources Region 1 Office. The document does not specify quantities, response dates, due dates, site visits, bidder meetings, award dates, or contract terms; instead, it provides step-by-step instructions for navigating the eVA platform, completing the response information section, entering unit prices for line items, and submitting proposals online before the buyer-specified deadline.
The guide emphasizes that Quick Quote awards are made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, making competitive pricing essential for successful bids. Vendors are instructed to carefully review all solicitation documents, attachments, and terms and conditions set by the buyer prior to submission. The document advises that buyers may request supporting documentation such as acknowledgements of addenda, references, and licenses through the Supplier Documents section. No specific information regarding pricing structures, set-asides, incumbents, or funding sources is provided in this instructional document, as it serves solely as a procedural guide for the submission process on the eVA platform.
