About this file
This document is a detailed instructional guide from eVA.virginia.gov explaining how to respond to an Invitation for Bid (IFB) through Virginia's eProcurement portal. The document provides a step-by-step process for suppliers to submit bids through the eVA system, walking users through the process from finding opportunities through the Virginia Business Opportunities (VBO) page to final bid submission.
The guide outlines the technical steps required to submit a bid, including accessing the opportunity through My Leads, reviewing information on Info and Items tabs, examining all attachments under Documents, inputting unit prices, completing response grids, and submitting the final proposal. Key features covered include the ability to save progress, attach required supplier documents (such as addendum acknowledgments, references, and licenses), download item lists to Excel for pricing, and validate submissions before final submittal. The guide emphasizes the importance of thoroughly reading all documents and contacting the buyer with any questions before proceeding with bid submission.
