About this file

This document is an instructional guide for following specific projects on SAM.gov to receive email alerts about contract opportunity changes. The guide provides step-by-step instructions for users to:

  1. Log into SAM.gov
  2. Search for a specific project/solicitation number
  3. Click "FOLLOW" at the top right of the posting

When a project is followed, SAM will automatically send an email notification for any changes, such as amendments, additional information, or posted questions. Users can stop notifications by clicking "Unfollow" using the same steps. The document recommends checking spam/junk folders periodically and includes a sample email notification showing how updates will be communicated, with a "View Details" link to access the specific contract opportunity information.
