About this file

This file is a Schedule of Items (Attachment 1) for a bridge replacement project in Mackinac County, Michigan, issued by the U.S. Forest Service. The project involves removing the existing concrete bridge and replacing it with a 36' long x 18' wide timber bridge with steel pile abutments at the West end of Dam Road (FR3303), approximately 2.6 miles west of Brevoort Lake Road in the St. Ignace Ranger District.

The detailed schedule includes 47 line items covering various construction activities such as mobilization, surveying, excavation, pile driving, structural steel work, roadway preparation, erosion control, and landscaping. The estimated quantities range from 4 guardrail terminals to 640 square yards of topsoil placement, with most items currently priced at zero. The contract allows for optional bid items to be awarded based on available funds, and all incidental work not specifically listed is considered part of the base contract. The project follows the Standard Specifications for Construction of Roads and Bridges on Federal Highway Project FP-14 edition.
