About this file
This is a project description document for the City of Santa Fe, New Mexico, related to landscaping and grounds maintenance services at Santa Fe Regional Airport. The scope of work encompasses year-round landscape maintenance and snow removal services designed to ensure that all landscaped and exterior areas of the airport remain safe, attractive, well-maintained, and do not interfere with airport operations or security. The document outlines the comprehensive nature of grounds maintenance required to support airport functionality while maintaining aesthetic standards and operational safety throughout all seasons.
The document appears to focus on the high desert environment specific to Santa Fe, addressing the unique landscaping and maintenance challenges presented by the region's climate and elevation. Key considerations for bidders would include understanding the high desert's specific vegetation requirements, seasonal snow removal protocols, and the particular maintenance demands associated with airport grounds in this geographic location. Bidders should be prepared to address how their services will adapt to Santa Fe's distinct environmental conditions and support the airport's operational requirements year-round.
