About this file

This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) seeking industry input on procuring a specialized 3D color printer for terrain map production. The printer must have specific capabilities including full CMYK color printing, ability to print a 12"x12"x1" map tile in under 24 hours, a build area larger than 144 square inches, no wireless/Bluetooth capabilities, connectivity via CAT 5/6 ethernet or USB, minimum 300 DPI print resolution, and deployability in an office environment with limited chemical hazards.

The RFI requires potential vendors to submit a 10-page white paper response by 5:00 PM ET on 18 July 2025 via email to Harry L. Lanfersieck. Respondents should provide details on their commercial and government experience with similar services, current capabilities to meet NGA's requirements, recommended contract pricing types, and potential small business set-aside opportunities. The document emphasizes that this is an information-gathering exercise only, with no guarantee of future contract award, and all submissions will become government property.
