About this file

This document is a Q&A file from the Defense Intelligence Agency's (DIA) Furniture and Products Industry Day, detailing key procurement insights for a forthcoming furniture and products contract. The solicitation involves furniture procurement, design, project management, installation, and maintenance services, with an anticipated contract award in Government Fiscal Year 2026. Key requirements include: contractors must hold a GSA Multiple Award Schedule Contract, provide personnel with TS clearance capabilities, communicate and coordinate projects with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), and purchase products from manufacturers listed in Section 7 of the Scope of Work.

Critical contract specifics include: the current incumbent is John Lang LaSalle, the contract will involve task orders with separate Statements of Work, and installation services will cover both CONUS and OCONUS locations. Contractors will be responsible for furniture design, project management, receiving, delivering, installation, tear-down, relocation, and removal services. The government will provide technical specifications for each order, and all products will be purchased using manufacturers' GSA Pricing Schedules. Notably, the government declined to disclose specific details about projected order volumes, spending distributions, and existing contract values. Contractors must be prepared to manage complex, potentially classified projects with robust communication and coordination requirements.
