About this file
This is a project specification document for the Heritage Road Concrete Double-Barrel Box Culvert, a procurement opportunity for South Carolina involving a four-sided precast reinforced concrete culvert designed for storm water conveyance. The project requires the supply and delivery of a concrete double-barrel box culvert meeting specific structural and dimensional requirements to facilitate proper drainage infrastructure. The specification establishes detailed technical requirements for the precast reinforced concrete construction, including strength ratings, dimensional tolerances, and quality standards necessary for the culvert's intended application in storm water management systems.
The specification document outlines manufacturing standards and quality assurance requirements for the precast concrete product, with emphasis on structural integrity and durability appropriate for subsurface water conveyance applications. Bidders must demonstrate capability to produce the culvert in compliance with applicable concrete reinforcement standards and delivery specifications. The procurement establishes clear performance expectations and material requirements to ensure the delivered product meets the engineering specifications necessary for proper installation and long-term functionality in the designated location.
