Helium Tank Trailer Photo_7058.jpg

This is a photograph of a specialized helium tank trailer unit with the identification number WCGU 000492-1. The image shows a large, tan-colored trailer unit equipped with compressed helium tanks, marked with hazard placard 1046 (indicating compressed helium). The trailer appears to be a Department of Transportation (DOT) approved container system for helium transport and storage, with multiple mounting points and safety features visible. The equipment is parked in what appears to be a loading or staging area with security bollards visible in the foreground.

The image relates to a Department of the Air Force Materiel Command solicitation (FA813225Q0008) for helium tank trailer lease and transportation services. The scope includes maintenance, staging, and recertification requirements for the tanks and associated transportation needs. This visual documentation provides potential contractors with a clear example of the type of equipment involved in the contract opportunity being solicited by the Air Force Sustainment Center.
