Q37. Page 115, Section 3.2. Recurring Maintenance, Inspection and Testing. 3.2.7 Direct Digital Controls and Computers. This section describes monthly maintenance and service for Direct Digital Controls and Computers. Question: To what level does Direct Digital Controls and Computer maintenance apply to School Dude? For example, is School Dude only used as Work Management System or is it integrated with Direct Digital Controls for facility automation?
A37. These are two separate systems. SchoolDude is funded and managed by DoDEA.
However, the contractor will have access and roles/responsibilities within SchoolDude according to the PWS.
Q38. Ref A9 - Please provide by building number (and base) the VTE Manufacture’s names and capacities (12 VTE’s).
A38. Please see attached list of all elevators currently within the Okinawa District facilities.
Q39. Ref A10 - Is the offeror to provide labor rates for VTE, Boiler, High Voltage and Vehicle Repair Technicians?
A39. Labor rates should be provided for all technicians that will be supporting this contract and included within Attachment 2 “Labor Categories”, and the associated Technical levels as indicated in 2.14.2 of the PWS.
Q40. Ref A28 - Is the summer and winter vacations considered no school days?
A40. Yes
Q41. Ref PWS 2.1.4 - Is the contractor provided a computer (with appropriate software and hardware) at each school to facilitate communications via the Work Management System
(WMS)?
A41. No. SchoolDude is an online system and therefore can be accessed at any internet ready location.
Q42. Ref PWS 5.1.1 - Is the contractor to provide service to Athletic Fields and/or Sports Fields?
A42. Yes
Q43. Ref PWS 5.1.1 - In order for the offeror to be assured they are adequately assessing the burden, will the Government provide maps (similar to the Turf Field Map) of the Natural Grass Sports Fields that are to be serviced?
A43. Please see attached

Q45. Labor Categories Spreadsheet General Question - The second page lists “Drafter” twice, is this a typo?
A45. This is a Typo and the labor categories spreadsheet has been corrected – see updated version.
Q46. Task Reports General Question - Will all tasks that are assigned to the contractor be generated through the WMS? {Examples: Fix laminator jammed / Replace master roll of RIZO machine / Deliver science board / Deliver copy paper etc. etc. etc.}
A46. All service requests will be coordinated through SchoolDude.
Q47. General Question: The solicitation indicates a threshold of $200.00 for materials/supplies.
Is there a limitation to the labor hours the contractor will have to provide for general labor work requests received through the WMS prior to the request being considered IDIQ work?
A47. General labor hours are included in the base price. An example of general labor requests can be identified in Technical Exhibit 5, Maintenance Monthly Log.

A48. The contractor is responsible to provide all tools, equipment and supplies according to

SPORTS FIELD MAINTENANCE SERVICES)?
A49. Yes. The intent is to continue to utilize the installation grounds maintenance contract to the fullest extent possible.
Q50. Regarding PWS, 5.1.1 “The COR will provide the Contractor with an annual DoDEA sport schedule and written notification 48 hours prior to required lining or athletic field mowing requirement.” Please provide the past year’s sport schedule & written notification so bidders have a better idea of the work frequency.
A50. The POC is currently working on this schedule and it will be provided separately at a slightly later date.
Q51. At 5.1 “minor work is defined as work that the Contractor will expend $200 or less in material costs”. We are going to lease a machine to conduct maintenance, if we lease bigger machine, it may exceed $200. Question, Is the material cost include machinery fee?
A51. Tools and equipment required to support reoccurring maintenance services of this contract must be provided by the contractor and leasing will not be a burden on the government.
Exceptions may be provided within the cost estimate for project based services, such as cranes or other similar machinery not typically required under routine services.
