About this file

This document is an amendment to a solicitation for Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Emergency Ambulance Services for school interscholastic sports at Fort Buchanan and Ramey Schools in Puerto Rico. The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) requires these services annually as a safety measure for potential student injuries during home and away games.

The amendment extends the solicitation response date from March 15, 2024 to April 4, 2024 and changes the solicitation issue date from March 6, 2024 to April 1, 2024. It adds FAR Clause 52.219-14, Limitations on Subcontracting, and requires vendors to submit a written certification that any subcontractors have the same small business status as the prime contractor. The Performance Work Statement details the requirements for on-site and on-call ambulance services, including personnel qualifications, equipment, response times, and reporting. It also includes a Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan and instructions for submitting quotes.
