About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) Response for a Request for Information (RFI) related to the Decisive Action (DA) Follow On contract opportunity by the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA). The RFI covers critical details about a professional analytical services contract supporting WMD threat reduction efforts. Key highlights include requirements for approximately 116 personnel, with about 19% working OCONUS (13% permanent presence, 6% TDY), and mandates for secure working environments including SCIF spaces. Personnel will utilize various COTS/GOTS tools such as Microsoft Office 365, Tableau, Analyst Notebook, R & R Studio, Python, and ArcGIS Pro.

The government responses indicate support services will focus on analytical and advisory roles across multiple operational departments, with specific emphasis on WDA, ORSA, and other technical support functions. Notably, Phalanx support will be covered under a separate contract. The solicitation anticipates approximately 45 contractors based on POM27 Touchpoint 2 planning, with work primarily conducted in CONUS and limited OCONUS engagement. The government has confirmed willingness to meet with prospective bidders and is open to potential internal restructuring that will not impact the core contract requirements.
