About this file
This document is an amendment to a solicitation responding to questions from offerors. It provides clarification on shelf stocking, receiving, storage, holding area, and custodial operations requirements for the Defense Commissary Agency commissary located at Tyndall Air Force Base in Panama City, Florida. The contractor will be responsible for stocking shelves with both government-issued and vendor-delivered products, cleaning shelves and exposed areas where government merchandise is displayed, and rotating merchandise according to expiration dates. The amendment clarifies that the contractor is not responsible for cleaning freezers, display cases, or other non-stocked areas. It also specifies that cases issued by the government due to vendor stocking failures will be recorded and counted separately. The closing date for proposals remains unchanged at August 30, 2021.
