About this file

The document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) spreadsheet for a mobile trailer solicitation (HBUK-0714) by the Force Protection Division at Hanscom Air Force Base. The Q&A addresses key details about a potential mobile trailer procurement, with responses indicating the government is conducting market research for both commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and custom-built trailers to serve as a data center, laboratory, and office space.

The Q&A reveals the government seeks a turnkey solution with specific requirements, including a 53-foot trailer capable of housing server and office spaces, with HVAC, power flexibility (landline and generator), bathroom, lockable features, roof access, server rack capabilities, and resilience to extreme weather conditions. The solicitation is a pre-solicitation Request for Information (RFI) seeking vendor input on cost estimates, delivery schedules, lease versus purchase options, and small business considerations, with vendors invited to submit up to 5 pages of information to specified Air Force email contacts.
