About this file
This is a specifications document for a hydraulic breaker attachment (hammer) procurement by the State of Maine. The contract opportunity seeks one hydraulic breaker attachment designed as a quick-attachable unit compatible with a BOBCAT 220 skid steer loader. The hammer must meet specific performance requirements including a minimum of 500 foot-pounds of energy per blow with variable operational capacity of 600 to 1000 blows per minute. Additional functional specifications require automatic lubrication, a chisel point tool, dry-fire capability without damage, easy rebuild capability, and full compatibility with both the BOBCAT 220 hydraulic system and its hammer mounting frame.
The specifications document does not contain information regarding pricing terms, bid deadlines, site visits, bidders' conferences, award dates, contract term, set-asides, incumbents, or funding sources and amounts. The document focuses exclusively on the technical and operational requirements that the hydraulic breaker attachment must satisfy to be considered acceptable for the State of Maine's procurement.
