About this file

This statement of work outlines the preventative maintenance and repair requirements for five Haas computer numerical control machines and one OMAX waterjet cutter located at the 911th Airlift Wing in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Annual preventative maintenance is required to be performed by certified technicians to ensure the equipment remains in proper working order and supports the production needs of the C-17 aircraft fleet. Required services include preventative maintenance visits, emergency repairs, and technical support for all machines. The contractor must have the ability to respond on-site within 72 hours of a repair notification. The performance period is for one base year with four optional one-year extensions.

The related federal contract opportunity is a notice of intent to sole-source the requirement to Phillips Corporation for the maintenance of the Haas and OMAX equipment. Interested parties may submit capability statements by March 1st to be considered for the sole-source award, which is justified since Phillips is the exclusive distributor for the equipment. The notice provides contact information for any questions.
