About this file

This document is a Statement of Objectives (SOO) for the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) regarding the requirement to install an Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and Access Control System (ACS) software at a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) located at Camp Xiphos in Jordan.

The SOO outlines the specific equipment and installation requirements, including a Bill of Materials with manufacturer part numbers, and the scope of work for the contractor. The intent is to ensure the SCIF maintains Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) accreditation by upgrading the security systems. The contractor will provide and install a new headend system, server/workstation, network video recorder, access control cards, and a door lock cylinder. The work must be completed within 45 days of contract award at the SCIF location in Jordan. There are constraints on personnel performing the installation being U.S. security cleared. The related federal contract opportunity is a special notice for a sole-source purchase order to Signet Technologies, Inc. under NAICS code 561621 - Security Systems Services.
