(iv) Factor 3: Price

(U) Section B states that the Period of Performance (Ordering Period) is 10 July 2022 to 9 July 2027, and each year is identified as a CLIN within the pricing schedule. The Factor 3 evaluation criteria states, "The evaluated price will be determined using the total price for base and all option years." Please confirm whether this RFQ will result in a five-year base IDIQ contract, or whether the contract will be awarded as a one-year base with four one-year option periods.

(U) The resulting IDIQ award will have a five year ordering period, with a 6-month option to extend. Each CLIN (0001-0005) represents the individual ordering year, this allows the vendor to factor in any escalation in price year over year.
