About this file
This Performance Work Statement (PWS) details a 10-day JLTV Maintenance and Troubleshooting training course for Naval Special Warfare Command. The training will be provided solely by Oshkosh Defense, the proprietary manufacturer of the Joint Light Tactical Vehicles (JLTV), and is designed for operators and mechanics to learn comprehensive vehicle maintenance skills. The course will accommodate up to 12 students and cover eight core training topics including vehicle familiarization, electrical systems, engine components, transmission, drivetrain, suspension, air systems, and HVAC systems.
The training is scheduled for August 2025 and will be conducted at JEB Little Creek, with the government providing classroom space, vehicles, tools, and a service bay. Upon course completion, students will receive certificates. The training is part of a sole-source acquisition under the United States Special Operations Command, with Oshkosh Defense recognized as the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the only authorized provider of factory training for the JLTV equipment. The contractor is required to maintain professional standards, comply with all applicable regulations, and report contractor labor hours through the specified data collection site.
