Performance Work Statement Naval Special Warfare Command Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

1.0 OBJECTIVE:

1.1 Naval Special Warfare Command requires twelve Mitchell1 End User License Agreements (EULA); six TruckWorks and six ProDemand Rep/Est subscriptions. NSWC requires this licensed access to a web based automotive service and repair subscription in order to properly maintain and service its fleet of Government Owned Vehicles. Contractor shall provide login and password information for access at multiple sites to support automotive and truck maintenance.

1.2 The Government intends to procure/renew at least six of each license per year. During option periods, the Government intends to include options for additional quantities as specified.

2.0 BACKGROUND:

2.1 Naval Special Warfare has light, medium, and heavy duty vehicles all over the world.

Having the proper service and repair information is vital to performing the level of maintenance needed to keep these vehicles operating safely. Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) have replaced their paperback service and repair manuals with compact disks and DVD’s. NSW would require in excess of 60 digital manuals each year to update the technical library at various locations. Utilizing a web based system eliminates the need to store manuals, continually updates the latest maintenance data and includes trouble shooting points learned in the field by model and year. NSW Mobile technicians require access to the information through a mobile phone or other mobile device if required when working in the field. By utilizing a web based automotive service and repair website, there is no software to install, NSW technicians can access the website from any computer or tablet with internet access, and there are no infrastructure costs.
