FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i)(C), “The order must be issued on a sole-source basis in the interest of economy and efficiency as a logical follow-on to an order already issued under the contract, provided that all awardees were given a fair opportunity to be considered for the original order”.

The existing task order provides IT services support for the Joint Special Operations University (JSOU). J&A KS 13-003, under authority of FAR 6.302-1 (a)(2)(iii), extended the ordering period of all IDIQ basic contracts under the SITEC Application Management Tower and details the need to extend services for 2 option years. A review of the Technical Industrial Liaison Office (TILO) and Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP) databases were reviewed and no other sources were found that were ca able of mobilizin and meetin this re uirement in the time re uired.
