About this file
This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Land and Maritime for water purification, distribution, and storage systems support. The market research seeks industry responses for an end-to-end logistical support contract covering approximately 2,073 National Stock Numbers (NSNs) for the United States Marine Corps and Army, with potential for a Fixed-Price contract using Performance-Based Logistics metrics. The contract will focus on supply chain management services including forecasting, order processing, inventory management, warehousing, quality assurance, and customer service for tactical water systems like water purifiers, distributors, and storage equipment.
Key contract details include a proposed four-year base period with a one-year option, a required 95% On-Time Delivery rate, and Time Definite Delivery standards ranging from 4-30 days depending on delivery category. Interested vendors must complete a comprehensive market research questionnaire by March 27, 2025, demonstrating capabilities in areas such as SAM registration, Electronic Data Interchange, quality management compliance (ANSI/ISO/ASQ Q9001), and ability to manage supply chain requirements for water purification systems. The solicitation (CM25071001) is currently in pre-solicitation phase and aims to award an Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Department of Defense water system support.
