Ground Vehicle Simulation Laboratory (GVSL) Market Survey Questionnaire
1. What is your experience with Human-Systems integration, Warfighter-Machine Interfaces, design of experiments and human performance assessments to support Ground Vehicle Simulation Center’s (GVSC’s) GVSL’s research areas in the following areas: Mission Enabling Technologies Demonstrator (MET-D) and Crew Optimization and Augmentation Technologies (COAT)?
2. What are your qualifications regarding the generation, integration and execution of real-time vehicle dynamics models utilizing commercial software packages such as SimCreator® Multibody Dynamics Component Library by Realtime Technologies, Inc. and the integration of those models into a simulation environment including audio, visual and motion cueing? In addition, describe your qualifications in the translation of vehicle dynamics models from commercial packages such as ADAMS® and DADSLMS VIRTUAL.LAB® into SimCreator® or another real-time dynamics package as required.
3. Please state your experience and knowledge regarding control systems used to operate six degree of freedom Stewart platform simulators. Explain how your experience with the generation, integration and execution of motion, visual and audio cueing systems allows for the mitigation of simulator sickness.
4. What are your qualifications regarding the design, development, integration and testing of a mixture of physical and virtual vehicle simulations? Please include your experience in the integration of actual vehicle subsystems and/or components such as autonomous control systems, wireless control systems, turret systems, gun systems, fire control systems, soldier machine interfaces, power trains, tires, and suspension components.
5. What are your qualifications regarding the integration of hardware and/or software necessary to allow for the interoperation of GVSL simulations with other simulators, simulations, and laboratories utilizing both government and/or commercial standards such as HLA, DIS, JMASS or NDDS. Such interoperation may occur over a LAN, WAN or military specific network such as the GVSC DREN or SCN.
