About this file
This is Project Addendum #01 from Commtech Design for an Audio/Video Upgrade project (#1297-01) at Gull Lake Community Schools in Richland, MI. The addendum, dated July 24, 2019, includes updated electrical drawings (E0000 and multiple EP series drawings), reissued specifications for Visual Display Boards (Section 28 5410), and addresses manufacturer equivalency questions regarding NEC projectors as alternatives to specified Epson projectors. The work schedule is specified to occur between 3:30 PM and midnight on weekdays when school is in session, per specification 28 0500 paragraph 1.04.
The addendum clarifies technical specifications, including confirmation that both NEC ME/MC Series long throw projectors and NEC UM351Wi-WK short throw interactive projectors are approved manufacturers, provided they meet or exceed all specified product specifications. Additionally, it corrects a speaker model specification, confirming that Speaker type S2 should be Teachlogic SP-628 rather than SP-268. The document includes detailed requirements for visual display boards including surface-burning characteristics, aluminum finishes, installation requirements, and warranty terms that cover the life of the building for porcelain-enamel face sheets.
